Of course I could have offered more typical, mainstay themes in dark tourism, such as cemetery tourism, Holocaust tourism, nuclear tourism, battlefield tourism and so on, but I found the more “exotic” sounding themes more intriguing, also because they are somewhat less predictable and bring together destinations in a lot of different locations. I have a wide range of further themes, so this could become the first of a whole series of such theme polls!
